About Dr. Sabahi

Dr. Iraj Sabahi is a board-certified rheumatologist with 16 years of clinical experience caring for patients with autoimmune, inflammatory, and complex musculoskeletal conditions. His extensive experience in rheumatology has given him a unique perspective on the relationship between inflammation, musculoskeletal health, physical function, tissue integrity, and overall quality of life.

Dr. Sabahi was born and raised in Iran. He began his professional pursuits at Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran, earning his Doctor of Medicine. Following graduation, he worked as a medical liaison officer at a private hospital, before immigrating to Canada.

About Karlie Marotz

At 38, Karlie Marotz brings nearly 15 years of nursing experience, a passion for aesthetics, and a deep commitment to exceptional patient care.

Originally from New York, Karlie made her way to California as a travel nurse, building a diverse clinical background across ICU, PACU, critical care transport, laser eye care, and flight nursing—including experience caring for patients aboard helicopters. Her career has given her an appreciation for precision, safety, clinical excellence, and the ability to remain calm and confident in high-acuity environments.

Katherine M. Manuel

Dr. Katherine M. Manuel, Ph.D., RD, LDN, EIM, FAND is an experienced registered dietitian and nutrition specialist dedicated to helping people make practical, sustainable choices for better health. With advanced degrees in Nutritional Sciences and Applied Exercise Science, along with specialized training in exercise prescription, she brings a comprehensive approach that considers both nutrition and physical activity. She earned her Ph.D. and M.S. in Nutritional Sciences from Howard University, an M.S. in Applied Exercise Science from Concordia University Chicago, and a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences with a Dietetics emphasis from Howard University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
